Celebrities from the Indian film and television fraternity are celebrating the spirit and courage of the Indian Air Force after Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale confirmed a non-military preemptive strike on a major Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp in Balakot.


The Indian Air Force (IAF) dropped 1,000 kg of bombs in the region of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to eliminate terror camps in the area. This was a reaction to the deadly Pulwama attack, in which 40 CRPF soldiers lost their lives on February 14. According to reports, the strike took place at 3:30AM on Feb 26, using 12 mirage fighter jets that destroyed various terrorist regions including Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Chakothi.

 

Several celebrities like Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Mahesh Babu, Tamannaah Bhatia among others took to their respective social media handles to laud the efforts of IAF.
